놀기 위해 일하는가?
일하기 위해 쉬는가?
똑같이 일하고 쉬는 건데
차이는 크다.
메달따는 데 실패한 어느 노장의 올림픽 선수가
너무 긴 시간동안 고생만하고 즐기지 못했다고 후회한다.
즐기며 운동할 수도 있었다는 이야기다.
지난해 만난 캐나다 컬링 여자 국가대표 주장은
남편과 자식을 둔 현직 변호사였다.

............................

필요없는 몸짓과 지킬수 없는 약속들,
과장된 말들이 더 많았다.
그냥 웃을 수도 있었는데.........
긴 시간들이었다.
그러나 앞으로 갈 길은 짧다.
